Pre-opening responsibilities: restaurant bar set up; menu development; sourcing suppliers, accounts set up; FOH team recruitment & training; implementation of systems and procedures; local authority liaison; marketing and social media
Working closely with the owners and Head chef to develop and evolve the business
All managerial aspects of the operation; ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day business; delivering the highest standards, optimal team performance and unrivalled levels of customer service (guest experience) on consistent basis (relaxed-attentive service style)
Team hiring and development; personnel & HR; rostering & payroll
Stock management incl. purchasing, supplier accounts & relations, invoices, stock audits, etc
Office admin; forecasting; sales and cost reporting; budgets / P&L targets; banking; full compliance files and procedures.
Maintenance of building; local authority relations; EHO liaison
Local marketing strategies & promotion of business

Food: modern, innovative cooking inspired by the Persian Gulf (flavour-profile focus) with commitment to sourcing the very best ingredients from artisan UK and International suppliers; all made in house on a daily basis; full menu development in collaboration with Owners.
7 day operation: set to open early to late with busy pre and post theatre trade expected.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Seeking a passionate, hands on, service-led General Manager with experience gained in comparable, modern casual dining restaurants and new openings.
Essential: inspirational leader and trainer with great ideas and vision; positive proactive management style; good knowledge of current food / dining trends and London restaurant sector; high energy; great attention to detail.
Package: £55,000 – £65,000 start salary pa plus KPI-related bonus
Permanent contract subject to standard 6 months probationary period: regular salary reviews (performance / sales dependent); courses as required; 28 days paid annual leave; workplace pension option; staff discounts; FAM trips & team excursions; meals on duty
Approx. 50 – 55 hrs p wk / 7 shifts over 5 days incl. Weekends
