Due to Company growing, with the new delivery of MSC Bellissima and MSC Grandiosa the Safety Service Coordinator will help the Service Manager to ensure that vessels adhere to class and flag requirements. The job consists to coordinate and monitor of activities connected with service regarding lifesaving and firefighting equipment.
  • Fluent English language skills;
  • Experience in sailing as Safety Officer (or higher) on Cruise Ships;
  • 5 years, or more, Cruise or seagoing experience;
  • Strong organisation, delegation and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Plans and monitors the L/R’s & MES services according to the ship’s certificate;
  • Conducts annual program LSA inspections;
  • Attends FAT of new LSA equipment for all new buildings;
  • Plans and monitors the lifeboats wire rope inspections;
  • Plans and monitors anything related to watertight doors service;
  • Plans and monitors all firefighting equipment services.
