How the IDCDC works: Chapters and Chapter cells. How the IDCDC is organised: the General Assembly, the Council, the Secretariat, Chapters and Chapter cells, with their state in 49 countries.

The Council is a federation of Chapters (host-country and sub-national community cells) and communities of practice, which the charter calls Colleges. One method holds it together: integrity-first governance, protected participation and peer review.

Organs

  • General Assembly Chapters are ratified by the General Assembly. The General Assembly adopts the Work Program.
  • Council Chapters are chartered by the Council after integrity review.
  • Secretariat An organ named in the charter. Its duties are read on the charter page, never paraphrased here.

Levels

  • Global level The Global level: the General Assembly, the Council and the Secretariat.
  • Chapters Regional Chapters and Diaspora Chapters, serving a Region or a Diaspora District.
  • Community Cells Local cooperation units in a city, municipality, campus, professional network or community cluster. This is where individuals take part.
