Steps

• Create your account A username, an email address and a password. The name others see can be a pseudonym.
• Accept the charter Read the six commitments every member makes.
• Admission The Credentials & Participation Office confirms your admission under the charter's rules.
• Choose your programme Pick the country and city where you want to take part.

Commitments

• I am independent and non-partisan in everything I do here.
• I disclose conflicts of interest and step aside when they apply.
• I protect other people's safety and never expose them.
• I do not use the Council for money, markets or investment.
• I never claim to speak for the Council without authority.
• I act with dignity and do no harm.

Questions

• Do I have to share my real name? No. Where safety requires it, you can take part under a pseudonym or by role. The Council keeps only the data that accountability requires, and protects it.
• Do I have to be Iranian? The charter sets no condition of origin. Admission rests on accepting its commitments.
• Does it cost anything? No fee is published yet. If the Governing Board sets one, waivers and reductions will keep membership open to everyone.
• Is this a political organisation? No. The Council endorses no party, candidate or faction. It is not a government in exile and represents no state.
