Congresswoman Faces Scrutiny Over Alleged False Accusations

JUST IN: Rep. Nancy Mace is facing explosive allegations from her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, who claims she fabricated gang rpe accusations as a means of blackmail, according to the Daily Mail. Bryant’s lawsuit alleges that Mace hacked into his phone the day after their breakup and installed an app to extract data. He further accuses Mace and a friend of manipulating a “vulnerable” young woman into believing she was gang rped by Bryant and his friends at a 2018 party.

The lawsuit details a purported scheme where Mace told political consultant Wesley Donehue that Bryant filmed women without consent and that she would use the information found on his phone to acquire their jointly owned homes, valued at around $6 million. The complaint further alleges Mace instructed Donehue to threaten Bryant with the public release of these photos unless he relinquished the properties. According to the Daily Mail, Bryant also received calls where Mace vacillated between reconciliation and blackmail, referencing information she claimed to have found on his phone. The accusations, if proven true, would represent a significant breach of trust and abuse of power.
