One language or several
ISO 639-3 treats Kurdish as a macrolanguage (kur) with Northern (kmr), Central (ckb) and Southern Kurdish (sdh). Glottolog lists them as three languages in one Kurdish group. Many speakers and Kurdish institutions see one Kurdish language with several dialects.
