Protected participation

Iranians abroad are documented targets of transnational repression. This site is built so that taking part does not expose you or your family.

01What we do

  • Let you join under a pseudonym
  • Keep profiles, group memberships and course enrolments private by default
  • Make every sensitive field optional and never public: ethnicity, faith, home town, political views
  • Show event venues only to approved attendees, and only attendance counts in public
  • Offer passkeys for sign-in and require them for staff, moderators and organisers
  • Strip location data from photos you upload
  • Fetch outside feeds on our servers, so outside services never see your visit
  • Let you delete your history and leave groups without a trace

02What we never do

  • Ask for your password or sign-in code by email, phone or message
  • Send sign-in links by email
  • Sell, share or publish member data
  • Post a list of members, attendees or donors
  • Contact your family

03If something is wrong

If someone contacts you claiming to be us, if you are harassed, doxxed or threatened, or if you see anything that could put a member at risk, tell the safety team. Reports can be confidential.
