01What it offers

  • 01

    One to one matches

A mentee is matched with a professional in the same field or country.

  • 02

    A counsellor for each match

A named counsellor checks in and handles concerns.

  • 03

    Set length

Each match runs for an agreed period and then closes, with an option to renew.

  • 04

    Guidance for mentors

Mentors receive a short guide on boundaries, safeguarding and conflicts of interest.

02Who it is for

  • Students and graduates
  • Newcomers re-entering their profession
  • Career changers
  • Professionals who want to mentor

03How it works

Interest
mentees and mentors register interest.
Conversation
a counsellor talks with each person about goals and limits.
Match
the counsellor proposes a match, and both sides accept or decline.
Meetings
the pair agree a schedule and meet at their own pace.
Close
the match ends with a short review and a choice to renew.

04What it always keeps

  • Mentoring is free for mentees.
  • Mentors declare any conflict of interest before a match.
  • No mentor recruits a mentee to a party, faith or business.
  • Concerns go to the counsellor, who can end a match at any time.
